Chapter 7 Marriage Contract
Laura was sent to the countryside when she was young. Her grandfather moved with her to keep her company. After her grandfather passed away, she was left alone. She always carried important documents such as her ID card and household registration book with her.
On the way to the Civil Affairs Bureau, Laura was in a trance. Everything seemed like a dream, and it was progressing too fast. Although the future of this marriage is still unclear, it is a major decision in life for any woman. She couldn't help but wonder, if her grandfather were alive and knew her decision, would he blame her?
She looked sideways at the man who was driving the car. He was wearing a hand-made black suit, one hand gently holding the steering wheel, revealing a valuable watch, and his eyes were firm and deep. His face was still as calm as water, as if he was not going to get a marriage certificate, but to negotiate a business.
Feeling Laura's gaze, Quincy tilted his head slightly and said in a deep voice: "There are still ten minutes left. You still have a chance to regret it ."
"I want to say the same thing to you." Laura shyly looked away and looked forward.
Then, I heard his deep laughter: "I never regret the decisions I make, and I will never allow others to regret it."
Laura raised her eyebrows slightly, thinking to herself.
When they arrived at the Civil Affairs Bureau, although it was off work, the staff still welcomed them warmly. When they saw them coming, they immediately came forward and quickly processed the marriage certificate for them.
Laura held the red book tightly in her hand and looked at it again and again. In the photo, the two people's heads were close together, and both showed a standard eight-tooth smile. They are both good-looking, and the photo is naturally beautiful, but the atmosphere between the two is a little subtle, as if they are a pair of familiar strangers.
Just as I was immersed in my thoughts, I suddenly felt a slight touch on my head.
"Gone." Quincy's voice brought her back to reality.
Laura covered her head and followed obediently.
The two returned to the car, and Laura naturally reported her home address. She was secretly happy in her heart. Now that she had a marriage certificate, she could naturally take back the shares.
However, after waiting for a long time, the car still did not start. She looked at Quincy in confusion, only to see him looking at her with a half-smile.
"Laura, you seem to have forgotten that you are married. Today is your wedding night."
Laura was stunned. This change of identity was indeed too rapid and she had not yet fully adapted to it. At the same time, she did not realize that Quincy's way of addressing her had quietly changed.
" Laura , do you remember what you said?" Quincy 's voice sounded again.
Laura knew what to do on the wedding night . It was just that she had not fully recovered from the high-intensity exercise last night. If she did it again, she was afraid she would not be able to bear it. However, thinking of her previous promise to fulfill her husband's obligations, how could she regret it now? She could only bite the bullet and nodded.
"Remember."
Quincy raised his lips in satisfaction, and the car sped along the road. He took Laura directly back to Xiyuan, a villa he bought a few years ago. It had been unattended because he had been abroad for a long time. After deciding to get married, he sent someone to clean it temporarily. When they arrived, the villa was brand new, and the cleaners had already left. There were only two of them left in the villa.
As soon as Laura entered the room, she was pressed against the door by Quincy. His kiss fell like a storm, making her unable to breathe, and she could only be forced to endure the heat and passion he brought.
