Chapter 17: Boxing Confrontation

In Xiyuan, the afternoon sun filled every corner, warm and bright. Quincy hadn't returned yet, so Laura had a simple lunch. After lunch break, looking at the bright scenery outside the window, she felt a long-lost impulse in her heart - to practice boxing.

Since returning to City A, she had not touched boxing for a long time in order to hide her identity. When she fought with someone yesterday, she felt unfamiliar. So, she walked into the vast garden of Xiyuan, found a quiet place, and prepared to stretch her muscles.

In the garden, there are rockeries, flowing water, and exotic flowers and plants competing for beauty. Laura chose to sit by the pond, with the sound of water gurgling and the dappled sunlight. When she closed her eyes, she felt as if she was in the mountains and forests, leisurely and contented .
