Chapter 5 The Heartless Girl

When Victoria returned to the lobby, Raymond still lingered. She stayed there for nearly forty minutes, and Raymond also waited for forty minutes.

As the elevator door opened, Raymond turned his head sharply.

Raymond is not a native of Yancheng. He was sent abroad by the government. Born in a third-tier city, he knew almost nothing about the top circles in Yancheng. He returned to China a few years ago when Victoria was away, so he didn't know that Grace, his junior, actually had a strong background. "When I'm discharged from the hospital, I'll skin him alive and cut him into sashimi!"

Lillian shouted indignantly: "Cut it! It must be cut!"

The birthday party was held in Edward's private villa. In the evening, when Victoria got into the car with the cake, the driver of the Davis family asked with a smile: "Is this a cake made for the young master?"

Victoria took off her coat and handed it to the servant before going in. There were so many people that she didn't see Edward . Several men were chatting while holding drinks at the bar. Alexander, wearing a flashy pink shirt, had his elbows on the bar. Victoria just smiled and said nothing.

The man next to her came over with a glass of wine in his hand: "Come here, sister, let me hug you too."

But Alexander slapped him away: "Get lost! Who the hell are you ? Are you worthy of hugging my sister? Edward will come over and beat you to death later."

Everyone knew how much Edward loved his sister, so the man didn't get angry: "Just wait, I'll spank you first."

Victoria brought the cake to the table, but saw that there were already seven or eight cakes on it, each more gorgeous and exquisite than the other. The blueberry mousse she brought seemed too plain among them, like the security guard of a high-end villa community.

After putting the cake away, she was about to leave when she heard a hushed conversation.
