Chapter 4: Love Sister

Everyone at the front desk fell silent at the same time. Raymond stood aside, his eyes fixed on her.

The landline phone clearly transmitted the man's voice, with a faint sense of electricity, full of magnetism, and mixed with a hint of elusive frivolity, as if Victoria had misunderstood the meaning: "Which sister of mine is this?"

"Victoria." She said each word slowly. "Edward's sister."

"Looking for your brother?" The man's voice was still careless, without any warmth in his voice. "He's not here with me."

Victoria took a deep breath: "I'm looking for... you."

There was silence on the other end of the phone for three full seconds.

Then, Theodore 's voice rang out lazily: "Wait."

Five minutes later, Theodore 's assistant to the president personally came downstairs to greet her and respectfully invited Victoria into the elevator: " Victoria , this way."

Raymond's expression was so ugly that it was difficult to describe it. Lillian saw a ray of hope in despair and said excitedly, "You really know Theodore? Then we are sure to win this time!"

He never expected that Theodore would actually be willing to meet Victoria. Chen Xing had gone to great lengths to get in touch with Yundun Group through middle-level leaders. After waiting for nearly twenty minutes, the conversation over there came to an end. After those people left, Victoria got up and walked towards the reception area. Theodore was still sitting in his seat, looking down at the documents, as if he had forgotten her existence. Victoria knew that this little time was also gained with the help of Edward. She explained her purpose while he was reviewing the documents.

Theodore didn't even raise his head, his pen rustling on the paper. "Couples' fights are none of my business." Theodore finally interrupted her.

"What I want is technology, not the fruit of their love. It doesn't matter whether the child takes the father's surname or the mother's surname."

" It does matter." Victoria said clearly, " Grace is a graduate student in aircraft design and engineering, and Raymond studied finance. Grace has always been the technical core of Feixue's R&D department . What is more important than technology is the talent who masters the technology."

She paused for a moment and continued, "Since Theodore has been following this project for so long, he should trust Grace's abilities."

Theodore raised his eyebrows slightly: "Don't call me Brother Theodore anymore?"

Victoria muttered to herself, "Don't you forget me?" But she changed her words and said, "...Brother Theodore."

Theodore stared at her thoughtfully for a few seconds: "Why do you need to use your connections for Feixue's matter?"
