Chapter 20: When we say goodbye, a new home will begin
That night, Victoria's dream was like a fragmented movie, recalling bits and pieces of her childhood. When she woke up, the morning light had illuminated the whole world, the sun shone through the curtains and sprinkled on the wall cloth with a delicate luster, creating a peaceful and bright atmosphere.
Victoria lay quietly on her bed, her eyes wandering around the room. Davis family , where she had lived for ten years, the warmth of every light and the texture of every floor tile were deeply imprinted in her memory. She could even climb the spiral staircase on the second floor easily in the dark.
