Daphne's standpunt

Toen ik voor het eerst wakker werd, was ik in de war. Ik ben zo gewend geraakt aan Caleb die zijn armen om me heen heeft, dat het vreemd is om hem niet hier in bed bij me te hebben. Als ik eerlijk ben, vind ik dit gevoel helemaal niet fijn. Ik draai me om naar waar hij in plaats daarvan bij me in bed zou moeten liggen en vind een briefje.

Daphne, ik kan niet wachten tot later vandaag, wanneer we als één geheel verbonden zijn voor onze gemeenschap en vrienden. Ik weet dat we gisteren een moeilijke dag hebben gehad en dat spijt me. Woorden kunnen niet uitdrukken hoe blij ik word van deze dag met jou. Volgens de traditie mag ik je niet zien voor de ceremonie, dus ik ben stiekem weggegaan, terwijl je nog sliep.
