Chapter 27 First Kiss

Jessica's behavior was like a sudden storm in the eyes of the Thomas family. They were shocked, puzzled, and even a little terrified, and Lucas was no exception. He originally just wanted to find an excuse to get Violet away and let this unwelcome guest face the "war" in the family alone, but unexpectedly, Jessica seemed to fall into some kind of indescribable madness in the blink of an eye.

After only half a glass of water, Lucas was filled with doubts. He rushed downstairs, grabbed Jessica's arm, and tried to take her away from the scene, while lowering his voice and asking, "Did you drink something wrong?" He put his face close to her, trying to smell some alcohol, but there was nothing except her natural fragrance.

Jessica didn't move at all, and slapped him on the forehead with her backhand, with a bit of displeasure in her tone: "You little brat, you are so disrespectful, I am your aunt, show me some respect."
