Chapter 12 Memory confusion?

When Jessica opened her eyes again, it was already noon the next day. The ward was noisy.

Violet woke up half an hour earlier than Jessica. When she heard that Jessica was still unconscious, she burst into tears and blamed herself. She insisted on visiting. Justin had no choice but to find a wheelchair and push her slowly into the ward.

Candice caught sight of the two of them and was furious. She whispered, "Who let you in? Get out!" She lowered her voice deliberately for fear of waking up Jessica on the hospital bed.
