Chapter 15: Longing for each other, and going to the marriage appointment

In just one afternoon, the greedy vampires and ungrateful wolves robbed James family of everything. When Juliana and her family returned home, they were greeted by an empty room, with not only valuables but even the dining table and chairs were swept away.

Alexander and Celeste looked at this desolate scene with mixed feelings. Juliana, however, held her parents' hands tightly and comforted them gently:

"Dad, Mom, don't be sad. If the old doesn't go, the new won't come. Today is the starting point of our new life, and the good days for our family have just begun."
