Juliana raised her eyebrows in surprise. She had never seen Celeste so resolute. Celeste smiled gently, as if she saw through Juliana's doubts, and continued to talk.

"Juliana, your father and I didn't have an easy time in the past, but after going through so much, especially after the separation, we talked a lot and learned a lot. Life is short, and it's not worth it to put yourself in a difficult position for anyone."
