I still went to make breakfast for Nicole. She was chatting with Sean the whole time at the table as if I was just air. I felt bitter but still tried to join in their conversation.

"Sister, there is orange juice in the kitchen. If you want some, I'll get it for you," I said.

Nicole seemed surprised that I called her sister. She paused and looked up at me as if she was looking at a stranger. "Okay, I get it." She responded calmly and turned to ask Sean : "Is one cup enough? Do you want another cup?"

I couldn't help but tear up. Nicole used to ask this question at the dinner table. That was the happiest time I had with Nicole in my memory . She would share interesting things at work with me and I would share the little joys of school with her. She also learned to make nutritious meals for herself, fearing that I would not eat well during adolescence and grow short and have physical problems.

But now she hasn't talked to me or cared about me for a long time.

Perhaps sensing my low mood, Nicole said, "Go drink some to replenish your vitamin C." I couldn't help but ask Nicole, "Have you forgotten that I'm allergic to oranges?"

Nicole's face suddenly darkened and she stood up and scolded, " Julian, don't make trouble so early in the morning!" Then she dragged Sean out.

I stood up and tried to hold her back, begging, "Sister, I need to go to the hospital to change the dressing today and you promised to drive me there."

Nicole frowned and said impatiently, "Sean has an important event this morning, so I'll take him there first and then you."

She left in a hurry after saying this. Half an hour later, I took a taxi and limped to the hospital to change the dressing by myself, because I knew Nicole would definitely forget.

When I got to the hospital, the doctor looked at me with sympathy and reproach: "Didn't I tell you to stay in bed and not walk? Now the wound has torn again." "Didn't you say someone would come with you to change the dressing? Why are you alone?"

I felt sad when I heard the doctor's question: "She couldn't leave because of something, so I came here by myself."

As soon as I finished speaking, there was a commotion in the hospital corridor. A young nurse came in and gossiped: "Did you hear? The people who just went outside were Nicole, the president of Ji Group, and her boyfriend." "They have a really good relationship. Nicole was so distressed when her boyfriend got a little scratch ."

The doctor who was changing the dressing paused and looked up at me: "Isn't Nicole the girl who came with you last time?"

I pretended to be relaxed: "Maybe it's just the same name..."
