Chapter 18 Children's Little Wishes
Looking at the children's expectant eyes, Lily's words of refusal were choked in her throat. They just wanted their daddy and mommy to spend a night with them, so simple and innocent.
The bedroom door was gently pushed open, and Raymond hurried over with a fever-reducing patch in his hand and a cup of warm water. He said softly, "I'll hold the child, you can help him with the patch, you have more experience." After that, he put down the cup of water, took Ink from Lily, and sat down on the edge of the bed.
Lily skillfully tore open the fever-reducing patch and gently placed it on the child's forehead, gently explaining: "We generally don't give children medicine easily, because the human body has its own immunity."
