"What's wrong with you? I called you several times but you didn't respond. You're sweating all over. Are you feeling unwell?" Kevin appeared beside me at some point.

I gradually regained my sanity and glanced over to find Linda standing next to him. In order to prevent them from seeing my embarrassment, I shook my head in a calm and composed manner.

"I'm not feeling unwell, I'm just thinking about something."

Kevin didn't seem to care about what I said. Instead, he said perfunctorily, "You still lack exercise and are too weak."

"Look at Linda , she works out every week, what a great body she has, so healthy. Look at you, with that fat belly around your waist, I don't even want to say anything about you." His eyes revealed a hint of disdain.

After work, I got into Kevin 's car. The difference was that this time he pushed me to the back seat, and Linda sat in the passenger seat.

"Rachel, Linda gets carsick, so I let her sit in the front. Do you mind?" Kevin turned around and asked me.

When I arrived at the KTV , I found that the room was already full of people. I had never seen these people before. They were probably Kevin 's colleagues in the department, and I didn't have much interaction with them. Kevin was busy with socializing and left me in a corner. Linda even treated me as if I didn't exist and chatted and laughed with others.

She is sweet-looking and has a gentle voice. She quickly got along with everyone else. Not long after, everyone urged Kevin and Linda to sing a love song hand in hand. The two sang He Jie's "Little Forever" affectionately.

Even after they finished singing the whole song, the two of them were still holding hands tightly and looking at each other lovingly. Others applauded and praised them.
