"You...what on earth are you talking about?" Ethan Smith's tone revealed a hint of guilt.

"If I hadn't checked my savings for investment purposes, I really wouldn't have known that my savings had been quietly misappropriated. Fortunately, I discovered it in time, quickly froze my assets, and asked someone to investigate you. Otherwise, I really wouldn't have known that you would actually plan for my 'accidental' death!" I smiled and said, "If I hadn't told you that I had made a will in advance and left all my assets to my parents to put you off the idea, you wouldn't have gone to such great lengths to stage this drama, right?"
