Chapter 4 Angry
Sophia has been reborn for three days and is gradually adapting to everything around her.
David has not stepped into the classroom for three consecutive days.
In the blink of an eye, it was the fourth day, which happened to be a Saturday. When the class was in progress until nearly six o'clock in the afternoon, the confiscated mobile phone was finally returned, announcing the arrival of the holiday.
Sophia lives on campus and happened to have to go back home that day.
At the corner of the stairs, she walked slowly down with her backpack on her back.
Suddenly, a thin boy blocked her way, "Sophia."
Sophia had no intention of staying, but out of the corner of her eye she caught a glimpse of several figures standing under a big tree at the bottom of the building. One of them was tall, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. It was David.
If she continued to go downstairs now, she would probably have no choice but to meet him.
Well, let's stay here for a while.
She turned to the boy and smiled politely.
"Hello?"
"Hello, I heard that you like to go to the bookstore to look for exercises?"
"Yes. I'm not in a hurry to leave. You can take your time."
"...I just happen to know that there is a new bookstore opened on Flower Market Street. There are many valuable books and mock test papers there. Sophia, are you willing to go there?"
Oh, it's him.
Sophia recalled that in her previous life, there was a boy who tried to stop her. She was afraid that David would misunderstand her behavior, so she went downstairs without talking to him. He kept talking behind her. She walked very fast, almost running. Seeing that he was still following her, she turned around and glared at him fiercely. Now , she no longer has such concerns.
She took out her phone and opened the memo. "Thank you. What's the name of the bookstore? Please tell me so I can write it down."
She caught a glimpse of the familiar figure downstairs and saw that he had disappeared. Sophia breathed a sigh of relief.
The boy also took out his phone and said, "The name of the store is a bit difficult to pronounce. Why don't I add you as a friend and send it to you?"
Just as Sophia was about to decline, a cold voice suddenly rang out, "Make way."
The boy felt the air pressure around him suddenly drop, and he stuttered again out of nervousness, "David?"
"Um."
David just responded calmly.
The boy who was traveling with David put his hand on the man's shoulder and said, "Of course, young man, how dare you steal David's girl?"
"No... No, I... I just..."
The boy's voice was trembling. He hurriedly flipped out a colorful flyer and handed it to Sophia , "Book... Bookstore address, bye!!"
As soon as he finished speaking, he disappeared.
"Tsk! That's just the courage you have. Sophia, don't tell me you like him? Even if you can't catch up with our David, you won't be so desperate, right?"
Sophia deadpanned, "I think he's a nice guy, don't say that about him."
"Better than our David?"
“………………”
Everyone was speechless for a moment.
The temperature around seemed to drop a lot.
David looked calm, without even glancing at Sophia, and continued to go upstairs.
Sophia turned her back to him and squatted down to pick up the bookstore flyer. The boy moved too fast, and before she could catch it, the paper fell to the ground.
After picking up the flyer, she hurried downstairs.
She walked as fast as the wind and soon disappeared.
David's long legs suddenly stopped, and the white sneakers he was wearing on the stairs changed direction.
"Hey? David?? You're not going upstairs? Didn't you say you were coming to get something? Hey, David, wait for us! William, why are you stopping me?"
"Just shut up. David is angry, can't you see?"
"Ah? What are you angry about? Who are you angry at?"
*
Sophia walked out of the school gate.
Only then did she remember that she had no money except for her campus card. She had some savings, and her monthly pocket money and living expenses were as high as more than 40,000 yuan, which was not a small amount, but in order to pursue David, she almost spent all her cash.
At this moment, her bag was empty and her cell phone was also empty. Not to mention taking a taxi, she couldn't even take the bus or subway.
She went home twice last month and both times she had to use David's car.
It was not until this moment that she suddenly remembered that in order to continue to get a ride this time, she had told the driver not to pick her up a few days ago.
Really……
Hey hey hey.
Sophia sighed repeatedly, disgusted with herself in her past life.
Fortunately, she remembered that Linda had not left yet, and immediately asked this enthusiastic classmate for help.
After the communication was completed, Sophia waited by the roadside, holding the colorful paper tightly in her hand.
Not far away.
Inside the black Mercedes-Benz.
David sat in the back seat with a gloomy look on his face. His eyes looked through the windshield, coldly fixed on the familiar figure on the side of the road.
The security guard driver turned around and asked, "Master, did you have a fight with Sophia?"
David didn't answer.
The driver continued to ask, " Didn't Sophia see that our car was parked here waiting for her? How about I drive over there?"
David still didn't answer.
The driver figured out something from his expressionless face. If he didn't object, that meant he agreed!
So the driver slowly drove towards Sophia.
The distance gradually shortened.
A white SUV stopped in front of Sophia , and the rear door slid open automatically. Sophia got in with a smile on her face.
The vehicle sped away in a cloud of dust.
driver:…………
The air conditioning in the Mercedes-Benz dropped to freezing point in an instant, and the driver sneezed twice.
"Master, this is not my fault, right?"
David then spoke up, "You're being nosy. Turn around and go back to the old house."
His tone was extremely cold, and one could clearly feel his bad mood!
The driver suppressed his smile and put on a sad expression.
"Okay, turn around right away, young master, sit tight!"
