I held a cup of hot milk and sat quietly on the sofa in the living room. Rachel stood behind me, with an unconcealable smug look on her face.

The butler and Auntie Evans stood in front, and the other servants were in the back, almost filling the living room.

I took a sip of milk and asked slowly:

"Butler, Auntie Evans, I heard from Rachel that you guys teamed up to bully her?"

When the housekeeper and Auntie Evans heard this, their eyes widened instantly and they pointed at themselves in disbelief:

"I...we? We team up to bully her? Miss, you can't listen to this vicious woman."

I shook my legs and said with a smile:

"Butler, I completely believe it too, so I came here to ask you what's going on."

Rachel was anxious when she heard this, fearing that I would side with the butler and his friends, so she stepped forward, lifted her sleeves again, thrust her hand in front of me, and cried,

"Elena, how can you not believe me? The scars on my body are real. Could it be that I hurt myself on purpose to frame them? The housekeeper and Auntie Evans relied on their seniority as Smith family elders to bully me with the servants at home, but now they still refuse to admit it."

Auntie Evans was so angry that she was shaking all over. She pointed at Rachel 's nose and started to curse:

" You are a bad woman who confuses right and wrong! It was obviously you who deliberately bullied the new servant. We couldn't stand it and went to argue with you. You started to hit people when we were arguing. You fell down during the scuffle. Moreover, the wound at that time was clearly just a small scratch on the wrist. How come this wound has its own ideas and spreads to the whole arm? What a liar!"

Rachel cried even harder, holding my hand and shouting:

"Elena, you have to believe me! I'm telling the truth. I've been bullied like this, and if you don't help me, I'll hit my head and die in the living room."

I looked at Auntie Evans and the others, then at Rachel, pretending to be embarrassed:

" You... each of you has your own story. I really don't know who to believe." The butler who had been silent stepped forward:

"Miss, the surveillance cameras at home have recorded the process of Rachel bullying and hitting the maids. There are also records of the maids going to the hospital for treatment. We are telling the truth. If you don't believe me, you can ask other maids."

I frowned and said:

"In that case, let them talk about it, so that we can get justice for everyone."

Then I added seriously:

"Don't be afraid, say whatever you want to say, but tell the truth and don't lie to me. If it is true that Rachel bullied you, I will make her apologize to you."

Rachel's hands froze, and she immediately turned around, glaring at the servants with a warning look, very fierce.

I tilted my head to meet Rachel 's eyes, and asked in confusion:

"Auntie, what are you looking at? Why are your eyes staring? Is there something wrong? Do you want to see a doctor?"

Rachel couldn't tell for a moment whether I was concerned about her or mocking her, so she could only smile at me awkwardly.

The servants looked at each other, seemingly hesitating whether they should step forward and testify against Rachel.

Finally, a pretty maid came forward and spoke timidly:

" Miss, Rachel asked me to wash her feet and massage her before. But I don't know why, Rachel suddenly kicked over the foot basin and kicked me in the chest. I didn't know what happened, but I apologized to her anyway. As a result, she picked up the kettle beside her and poured all the hot water on me. I dodged quickly, and the hot water didn't pour directly on my face, but the large area from my neck to my chest was severely burned..."

By the end of her speech, she was already in tears, her voice was shaking uncontrollably, and she almost couldn't continue.

After she started, the maids who had been bullied by Rachel for no reason came forward one by one. Some said that when they passed by Rachel , she would pull their hair and slam them against the wall for no reason; some said that when Rachel was unhappy, she would call the new maids together and let them slap each other to cheer her up...

They were new here, without any foundation. Rachel told them that she was the mistress of the house, and if they dared to disobey her, she would kick them out. So they didn't dare to complain and kept enduring. Until one day, one of them was beaten by Rachel to the point of cerebral hemorrhage and fell into a coma . When she was shouting for help, she was caught by Auntie Evans and Auntie Liu. Auntie Evans couldn't help but go to Rachel to argue.

My disgust for Rachel deepened after listening to her. Although I knew that Rachel was a vicious woman, I still couldn't control my anger when I heard her bullying.

Rachel went from being confident and triumphant at the beginning to looking pale later on, barely able to hold on to a chair for support.

I stood up angrily and looked at Rachel disappointedly:

"You are such a person! This is too much! Are you just pretending to be kind in front of me to confuse me?"

Then I bent down again and apologized to the servants who had been bullied:

"I'm sorry! I didn't realize you were being bullied. If anyone hits you for no reason again, tell me."

Then, I said to the housekeeper:

" Grandpa housekeeper, I was too indulgent to Rachel before , which made her make a big mistake. I will no longer listen to her one-sided words. You can deal with her however you want."

Rachel staggered over and tried to hold my hand, but I pushed her hand away and stormed upstairs.

The housekeeper and Auntie Evans should understand what I mean, right? You don't have to be lenient with Rachel in the future, and you don't have to consider my face. Since grandma said that she would be a nanny, she should really experience the life of a nanny.
