Pearl Williams' eyes suddenly turned red: "Dad! Why don't you believe what I said?! The zombie crisis is really about to break out!" As she spoke, tears began to fall.

My mother felt so distressed that she quickly put down her chopsticks and wiped her tears: "Mr. Williams, why are you speaking so harshly? Pearl Williams has no bad intentions."

Pearl Williams stared at me fiercely: "Serena Williams! Did you say something in front of Dad again?! Otherwise Dad wouldn't say that to me!"

I looked up at her and said, "I believe in your dream and support you. After all, your dream is so real and has so many details. You are the chosen one." Pearl Williams smiled and didn't hear the sarcasm in my tone at all. Then she looked at my mother, who patted her chest and promised to believe in her, and helped Pearl Williams persuade my father.

My dad put a few pieces of meat into Pearl Williams' bowl and said, "I used my connections to find you that job. How can you just quit like that? Besides, it was just a dream. Go apologize to your boss tomorrow and stop throwing a tantrum."

Pearl Williams started crying again, dropped her chopsticks, and ran back to the house: "Dad! Just wait, I must make you believe it!" Then she slammed the door.

My mother glared at me and said, "Why are you so silent? You don't try to persuade your father, but just keep eating. You didn't even try to comfort your sister when she was crying so hard. You are such an ungrateful person!"
