He spoke lightly and always had a meaningful smile on his face.

I shook my head gently: "It's okay, this pajamas fits you well, I'll give it to you."

"Then I'll obey your command." Tom's smile became even brighter.

Lily Davis was grateful for Tom's hard work today and wanted to invite him to dinner, so she turned to ask for my opinion.

"You decide, I don't care." I responded casually.

During the meal, Tom praised the food highly and even joked that I must have saved the galaxy in my previous life to be able to marry a wife like Lily Davis.

Lily Davis was so pleased with the compliment that she smiled like a flower. She kept picking food for Tom and urged him to eat more.

I chose to ignore their intimate behavior and just focused on eating.

When rice grains stained the corners of Tom's mouth, Lily Davis immediately took out a tissue and wiped it for him carefully.

"Look at you, can't you eat slower? You always wolf down your food like a little kid." Her eyes were full of tenderness.

I really couldn't stand this scene, so I put down my bowl and chopsticks heavily, got up and left.

After returning to the bedroom, I glanced at the trash can out of habit and found that it was clean.

I sighed and was about to light a cigarette when Lily Davis walked in.

She tried to hug me gently from behind, which was our favorite intimate gesture, but I subconsciously avoided it.

I said coldly, "You promised me before that you would not contact Tom anymore, why did you break the promise again?"

"Husband, I've just explained it to you. I asked him for help because I had no other choice. I'm a weak woman, how can I fix a water pipe?" She looked innocent.

"Why don't you ask the property management for help?" I asked.

"I called and the property management said that the plumber and electrician took a day off today and will not be back until tomorrow," she explained.
