I was a little tired from shopping and happened to pass by the company. I thought that I hadn't been to the company for a long time since I gave birth to my child. I looked at the time and it was almost time for my husband Alex Thomas to get off work. After a good rest, we could go home together, so I went upstairs.

But Alex Thomas was not in the office. There was only a young assistant who looked unfamiliar packing up. She looked me up and down and asked with a smile, "Hello, are you looking for Alex Thomas? I am Wanda, Alex Thomas's special assistant. Alex Thomas is in a meeting. I suggest you wait at the door for a while."

"I'm..." I paused, and didn't say my name. Instead, I sat on the sofa and said gently, "I'm Alex Thomas ' wife. I'm here to pick him up from work. Just get me a glass of water and some fruit."

I was even more confused. Before I could react, Wanda crossed her arms and said arrogantly:

"Yu Gong, I am Alex Thomas' assistant, not your assistant. I have no reason to serve you."

"Personally, I am pregnant with Alex Thomas's eldest son, and I am a hundred times more valuable than you, a cheap woman who only has a marriage certificate but cannot give birth to a son and spends money all day long shopping!"
