Chapter 1: Marrying for a Wedding

Time goes back to the autumn of 2015. Evelyn sat quietly on the train heading to Haicheng, her thoughts drifting away with the turning of the wheels. Nine years ago, she was abandoned in the countryside, but now she was called back because of a sudden marriage. In order to save the seriously ill groom, the Smith family did not hesitate to marry her, who had been fostered in the countryside, to Youlan Garden as a tool for getting married.

On the sleeper berth of the train, Evelyn held a book in her hand, immersed in the ocean of knowledge, trying to forget the upcoming fate. However, fate came quietly at this moment.
