"De waarheid is dat ik niet oké ben. Ik denk niet dat ik ooit oké zal zijn, Lyn. Ik gaf echt om mijn oom. Ik hield echt van hem en zag hem echt als een vaderfiguur. Het doet zo'n pijn om erachter te komen dat hij al die jaren geen fuck om me gaf. Het zou niet zo'n pijn doen als het iemand anders was."

Ik vertelde het haar oprecht. Als ik met iemand zou kunnen praten over hoe ik me echt voelde over alles wat ik heb ontdekt, zou het mijn maatje zijn. Zij zou zeker begrijpen hoe ik me voel. Ze sloeg haar armen om mijn nek en kuste mijn haar. Mijn armen om haar middel werden strakker toen ik warmte van haar kreeg.
