Seven years later.

I had just finished a 12-hour surgery and was exhausted. I had just collapsed in a chair and gulped down a large bottle of water when I received a call from my college classmate Lily urging me to attend the wedding banquet. I didn't have time to go home to change clothes, so I rode my bike to the wedding banquet hotel. After all, riding a bike to the wedding banquet hotel is faster than driving.

" After all, you are a genius in cardiac surgery certified by our teacher. How come you are doing so badly now? I opened a private hospital, and I can give you a job as a receptionist for the sake of my old classmate. What do you think?"

Looking at the expensive clothes they were wearing, it seemed that Jack had achieved what he wanted and reunited with his wealthy first love.

I refused calmly: "Thank you, but no thanks."

You don't know that Cindy has joined a top medical research team abroad and now has her own private hospital. Others can't get in touch with her even if they want to." The other classmates who followed them all agreed, "That's right, Janice . Cindy has cured several cancer patients and is very famous in the medical circle. Many people want to meet her but can't find a way to meet her. You are so lucky to meet her."

"That's right. The job of a hospital receptionist is easy and stress-free. You should thank them."

"Although the salary is not high, I certainly won't let you dress like a cleaning lady like you do now."

"Cindy is really amazing. We are still office workers, but she has already opened her own hospital."

I was speechless. I had just refused. Now standing aside quietly was considered arrogant?

" I said, I have my own job. I don't need her to introduce me."

Hearing this, Cindy snorted and laughed. Jack frowned and looked at me: "Janice, I told you a long time ago that society is different from school. Aren't you just an ordinary doctor now? Now Cindy is willing to help you. It will be much better for you to go abroad with her than in China."

"I used to have a relationship with you, but I'm with Cindy now. Don't be embarrassed to accept Cindy's love because of me."

Cindy smiled and kissed Jack's cheek, looking at him coquettishly: "That's right, Jack and I were first love. Although you were together for a while later, I don't mind. When Jack came, he told me that you only know how to study hard, and asked me to help you."
