After the cool-off period for divorce was over, Mira and I met at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau. After not seeing each other for a month, Mira, who was always perfect, had dark circles under her eyes, messy hair, and looked much more haggard. Since she knew that I could hear her inner voice, she had given up.
"Honey, do you really not want me anymore?" Mira asked in a trembling voice.
I smiled and responded, "Mira, please don't call me that. Can't we be more respectful to each other?"
