Sure enough, as soon as I got home, I received a call from my dad.
"Justin, what do you mean? You are so rich, why did you lie to me?" My father asked me a barrage of questions from the other end of the phone.
"I just said it as a joke, who knew you took it seriously!" I explained.
"I don't care. I've raised you for so many years. Since you have money, then give 400 million of your 500 million to your brother!" He said shamelessly on the other end of the phone, "Your brother has had a hard time these years, not to mention that your nephew is our grandson."
I laughed when I heard that. He was about to ask for a lot of money! How could he say that?
" That's your grandson, what does it have to do with me? Besides, the house you live in is mine, please move out!" I said bluntly.
My dad lost his temper and shouted, "I've raised you for so many years, and you actually want me and your brother to move out? I gave birth to you and raised you, and you still have to pay me alimony. Don't think I don't know that!"
"Really?" I smiled calmly, "Ronald is your only son. I've been working since I was sixteen! And most of the money I made was taken away by you!"
"Justin, I was training you, otherwise would you be here today?" my dad still said shamelessly.
" You bastard, wait till I find you, I'll let your brother beat you to death!" he roared.
I listened to him and hung up the phone. The community I live in is the most high-end community in the city. There are security patrols 24 hours a day, and it is difficult for outsiders to come in. Ronald even had a hard time coming in, let alone coming to cause trouble for me.
I called my lawyer to inquire about the progress. The lawyer told me that Ronald's occupation of my house and loan was a done deal, so they were already dealing with it. As for my adoptive father's occupation of my biological parents' property, it might involve criminal issues, so I had to wait a while.
"Justin, if the evidence is conclusive, he and his wife may have to spend ten years in prison!" said the lawyer on the other end of the phone.
"Isn't that just right?" I was happy to hear that. If both of them were in jail, Ronald and Joyce would undoubtedly have another big problem. Over the years, Ronald and Joyce had lived a very comfortable life. When they ran out of money, they asked me for it, and left all the housework to my mother. The couple didn't even know how to light a fire in the kitchen. If my father and mother were also in jail, Ronald and his wife would definitely not be able to survive.
