Het was veel moeilijker dan ik had verwacht. Ik was al twee keer vastgelopen.

Susie was echter een geduldige leraar en hield haar hoofd koel. Ze giechelde alleen een beetje toen ik op mijn achterste was gevallen, en lachte niet direct. Bovendien hielp ze me meteen daarna weer overeind.

In de buurt hielden de wolven Night en Silver de wacht. Mark probeerde hen nog steeds te overtuigen om ook met mij mee het kasteel in te gaan, maar ze hadden zich er in ieder geval toe verbonden om ons buiten het kasteel goed in de gaten te houden. Ze legden ook uit dat als we ze riepen, ze zouden komen rennen.
