Toen Caroline zag dat Selina haar ogen uit haar hoofd snikte, stapte ze snel naar voren en zei: "Mevrouw Franklin, mevrouw Selina had weer een aanval en mevrouw Hogan sloeg haar. Haar toestand is vandaag pas verbeterd en is nog niet gestabiliseerd. Maak haar alsjeblieft niet bang."

Caroline had de avond ervoor over het incident nagedacht en ze kon al raden wie Selina had geslagen. Om Sonya ervan te overtuigen te stoppen, had ze geen andere keus dan zichzelf te vermannen en de andere vrouw haar speculatie te vertellen.

Sonya leek hier echter niet van onder de indruk. “Sonya heeft me hier al over verteld. Lina was degene die niet gehoorzaam was geweest, en Samantha heeft haar alleen maar op die manier gestraft in haar paniek. Ze heeft me al haar excuses aangeboden. Lina is ook schuldig. Samantha zal in de toekomst haar stiefmoeder zijn, maar ze maakt nog steeds dit soort ophef.”
